Priority School Build Programme.

Published on October 3, 2014

Bitterne Park School are excited to announce that following the disappointment 6 years ago with the cancelled BSF school building programme, the school has been chosen to be one of 261 schools nationwide to be redeveloped as part of the Priority School Build programme. This is partly as a result of a planned increase in school capacity locally, the poor condition of the fabric of the school buildings and the success of the school. The Education Funding Agency is forging ahead with plans for a new school build on the existing Bitterne Park School site. Currently, early survey work and exploratory drilling investigations are underway to establish the future design and location of the new buildings.

Bitterne Park School will endeavour to keep everyone involved updated regularly with any further detail or news regarding the Priority School Build Programme.
