After Tuesday’s success in the Hampshire Cup the year 11 boy’s football team completed the cup double by winning the Southampton City Cup. In another highly competitive final Bitterne Park beat Oasis Mayfield 2-0, with goals from Josh Green and George McAlpine. The match was also notable for Ollie Dowle and Stephen Geddes making the starting line up for the team. Dowle had a great game playing both left back and midfield and Geddes fired a fantastic shot narrowly over the bar in the dying minutes. This was the boys final match before leaving school and it was fitting that they bowed out with such success as they have been great ambassadors to the school.
