I am writing to give a final update on the Year 7 Osmington Bay Trip. As you will be aware the school has received confirmation that a small number of people have been diagnosed as having swine flu. This number remains very small to date however I would like to pass on information about possible implications to the trip.
 
The trip to Osmington Bay IS still going ahead. I have spoken to PGL who have confirmed the following:
 
 
  • It is fine for pupils to travel to Osmington Bay as long as they are not showing any symptoms of swine flu.
  • Any pupils who have been diagnosed with swine flu by a doctor cannot go on the trip and will be refunded through the insurance company as long as a medical certificate is produced.
  • Anyone who gets ill on the trip will need to come home but will not be covered by the insurance.
