Welcome to Travel & Tourism.

Current Year 9 (soon to be year 10 Travel & Tourism Pupils) will be following the New BTEC curriculum when they start in September. This is an exciting development for BTEC pupils that modernises the subjects of study.

Current year 10 will still follow the 2001-2009 syllabuses.

Therefore the syllabus from September 2010 will be as follows

We can see in comparison there will be a wider breadth of topics covered with the new curriculum and this will mean more of an emphasis on independent learning and enquiry. Therefore the ‘Holiday Club’ that runs after school every Tuesday and Thursday Evenings will continue in September and will be open to anyone wishing to use the resources and support of the Travel & Tourism Department to aid their progress and learning.
