Modern Foreign Languages has a dynamic team of experts who will teach French to KS3 in years 7, 8 and 9. Spanish will continue to be taught in year 10 and 11, along with French.
 
There are currently four members of staff in MFL

Mrs. M. Sogolo - French and Spanish
Mrs. R. Stevenson - French and Spanish (on maternity leave)
 
We are keen to certificate pupils who speak other languages at home. In 2010 pupils have taken examinations in Russian, Mandarin and Modern Hebrew. We look forward to our Polish pupils taking GCSE Polish in the near future.
 
We are hoping to arrange affordable language trips for our two strong GCSE groups as well as our annual trip to Paris in May for year 7.
