Health & Social Care

Bitterne Parks fitness suite

Health and Social care is an option subject and popular amongst female student’s, however we are increasing our numbers of males!

It is run in Key stage 4; we deliver childcare in year 9 and 10; also delivering Health and Social Care at A level and Childcare at levels 2 and 3.

Students can opt to study a BTEC level 2 award in Health and Social Care or GCSE Health and Social Care.

We aim for the students to experience ‘real life’ health and social care settings experiences.
